What to Bring and Prepare
Trail clothes and shoes – you will walk about 5–10 km per day
Water bottle(s)
Media content tools – camera, sketching pencils, colors, laptop/tablet, etc., depending on your skills

Favorite food recipe (for sharing/cooking activity, if applicable)

In partnership with

Dong Phayayen-Khao Yai Forest Complex. It is a habitat of the highest importance for the conservation of biodiversity. Including the habitats of plant species. and/or animal species that is scientifically outstanding or global conservation. Preservation, The heritage site need to be maintenance to preserve the area as much as possible. Promotion, for the sustainable site, the prompting area will support the the organization and working committee to continue work on the site area. Dong Phayayen-Khao Yai Forest Complex spans 230 km between Ta Phraya National Park on the Cambodian border in the east, and Khao Yai National Park in the west. The site is home to more than 800 species of fauna, including 112 mammal species (among them two species of gibbon), 392 bird species and 200 reptile and amphibian species. Covering 4 provinces Saraburi, Nakhon Ratchasima, Prachin buri and Nakhon Nayok. the national park work with provincial and local community to sustain the site and planning together to preserve the site and designed the most beneficial for local communities

Aims
1. To promote Dong Phayayen, the Nature World Heritage site in Thailand which has been approved in 2005
2. Raise up awareness to young people in Thailand natural resources value
3. To create new contents from heritage site from international volunteers to international level


Description of the Work

Schedule 10-29 August 2026
10th Aug. - Arrival Day
Travel from Airport to Khao Yai national park (approx. 2 hours)
Welcome Introduction

National park map

11th Aug.– National Park Briefing & Content Creation (Nature Trail)
Morning > History and introduction by National park Team and Media Content Creator Method
Afternoon > Pha Kluaimai water fall - Heo Suwant Water fall

12th Aug.- Content creating by Nature trail
Morning > Camp - Nong Phak Chi Wildlife Watching Tower
Afternoon > Nong Phak Chi Wildlife Watching Tower - Sai sorn Reservior - Camp

13th Aug. - Group Work & voluntary work
Group discussion and task division
Voluntary work / community service with the National Park

14th Aug. - Whitewater rafting
Travel to rapids (approx. 3 hours)

Accommodation & Food

Board and lodging 10-14 Aug
Accommodation & Facilities
Participants will stay in National Park accommodation.
Rooms are shared, with bunk beds and shared restrooms.
Meals
Three meals per day will be provided.
Connectivity
Please note that Wi-Fi is limited inside the National Park.
We recommend purchasing a Thai SIM card, e-SIM, or using roaming services for your convenience.

Board and lodging 15-29 Aug
Participants will be in the house, open space, share one big room together. You will deparate in cooking team in each day and prepare Breakfast and Dinner for everyone. Lunch will be provide at the school. Food will be provided 3 meals a day There is internet wifi in the house.

1.3 kms from accommodation to Ban Krok luk School you can go by walk, bike or teacher motorcycle.

27 kms From accommodation to Baan Maab Grad School You will go there by car

Volunteer Spirit Association (ex Sawasdee) is a non-profit (NPO)/non-government (NGO) / a peace organization that coordinates international voluntary projects for people of all ages, cultures, religious and economic backgrounds. Our work is based on the belief that all people are capable of living together and cooperating with mutual respect and without recourse to violence to solve conflicts. Through international voluntary work we aim to give people the chance to experience this way of living whilst contributing in a useful manner to the community. Volunteer Spirit Association had started its activities in 2008 and organized first international workcamp in 2009.
