STV/MTV Program LTV Program 1st Month-Euro 450 6 Months - Euro 2,200 2nd - 5th Month-Euro 400 per month 12 Months - Euro 3,600 to be paid by sending organization via WISE/Bank transfer at maximum 30 days before the start of the project for STV/MTV program and 2 months before the start of the project for LTV program (inclusive of one way local airport transfers to the project, seminars, food and accommodation, monitoring and evaluation, coordination and admin fees) Note: Additional Bank charges of Euro 20 per participant shall be imposed. and 9899; GIED also Offers a 47a2-Volunteer Visa third party services for LTV program with additional Euro 500 fee per LTV participant

The Community Engagement and Social Relations (CESR) Program of the Center for Development and Institutional Advancement (CDIA) facilitates outreach, service-learning, and community-based initiatives involving students and partner communities. Through partnerships with local schools and communities such as Barangay Buhisan, the program promotes youth formation, education support, and intercultural exchange. International volunteers support these initiatives by assisting in educational activities, cultural exchange programs, and community engagement activities involving students from the Senior High School and College departments.


Description of the Work

Assist with English communication and cultural exchange activities, support service learning and community outreach programs, facilitate intercultural activities, participate in school and community events, and help document program experiences.


Accommodation & Food

Volunteers will be hosted by designated host families arranged by GIED or within the school. Accommodation provides basic living conditions and access to transportation to the project site.


Location & Leisure

Cebu City is a major economic and cultural center in the Philippines, offering diverse leisure options from historical landmarks and shopping malls to scenic mountain spots and coastal attractions. Its accessibility, vibrant culture, and wide range of activities make it ideal for both residents and tourists.


Requirements

- Background in Education, Social Sciences, Youth Development, Sports, ICT, or related fields. - Interest in community engagement, cultural exchange, and youth development. - Ability to relate effectively. - Willingness to work collaboratively in an educational and community setting. - Respect for local culture, values, and school policies.


Appointment

Airport pick-up anytime within Regular Working Days from 8am to 6pm only at the Mactan Cebu International Airport Beyond this day and time participant should go to GIED Office at Door 4, Causing Feria Bldg. Osmena Blvd. Sambag II, Cebu City or other prior agreed meet-up place
