Chiang Muan Wittayakhom School, located in the Chiang Muan District of Phayao Province in Northern Thailand, is a medium-sized secondary school under the Office of the Secondary Education Service Area Office Phayao. Situated in a serene rural valley surrounded by mountains, the school serves as the primary educational hub for three sub-districts (Ban Mang, Chiang Muan, and Sa). Unlike the welfare boarding schools under the royal foundation, Chiang Muan Wittayakhom operates as a public day-and-boarding school that caters to the local community, providing an essential educational lifeline for students in this remote part of Phayao.

The school currently provides education for approximately 500–600 students from Grade 7 through Grade 12 (Secondary Years 1–6). The student population is diverse, consisting of local Thai students and children from various ethnic minority groups who live in the surrounding rural and agricultural areas. Many students come from farming families, and the school plays a critical role in offering them academic and vocational opportunities that bridge the gap between their rural origins and their future career aspirations.
