STV/MTV Program LTV Program 1st Month-Euro 450 6 Months - Euro 2,200 2nd - 5th Month-Euro 400 per month 12 Months - Euro 3,600 to be paid by sending organization via WISE/Bank transfer at maximum 30 days before the start of the project for STV/MTV program and 2 months before the start of the project for LTV program (inclusive of one way local airport transfers to the project, seminars, food and accommodation, monitoring and evaluation, coordination and admin fees) Note: Additional Bank charges of Euro 20 per participant shall be imposed. and 9899; GIED also Offers a 47a2-Volunteer Visa third party services for LTV program with additional Euro 500 fee per LTV participant

Bukas Palad Cebu or BPCFI is a social initiative of the Focolare Movement, founded in 1987 by a group of young people who wanted to put into practice the challenge launched by Chiara Lubich to die for our own people during her visit to the Philippines. Believing in the phrase of the Gospel Freely you receive, freely you give (Mt. 24:40) and living this as its motto, they decided to name it Bukas Palad i a Filipino term that means open palms. BPCFI is active in serving poor communities of Cebu City and nearby areas. It offers a comprehensive program in the fields of education, housing, health care, livelihood, and community development.


Description of the Work

9899; Development of new promotional materials e.g. video/photo documentation and or regularly update social media accounts. 9899; Increased skills of the volunteers in dialogue with another culture. 9899; Assist community-based related projects, activities, events, etc. 9899; Assist Kindergarten staff in managing classroom activities, events, etc. 9899; Assist home and school visits, advocacy, and capacity building activities


Accommodation & Food

Living with the host family (expect to have a shared room with other volunteers/staff members) or independent living arrangement


Location & Leisure

Cebu City is a major economic and cultural center in the Philippines, offering diverse leisure options from historical landmarks and shopping malls to scenic mountain spots and coastal attractions. Its accessibility, vibrant culture, and wide range of activities make it ideal for both residents and tourists.

Appointment

Airport pick-up anytime within Regular Working Days from 8am to 6pm only at the Mactan Cebu International Airport Beyond this day and time participant should go to GIED Office at Door 4, Causing Feria Bldg. Osmena Blvd. Sambag II, Cebu City or other prior agreed meet-up place
