The drawing that will be reproduced was conceived during the winter and spring months by the students of some classes of the Middle school and then co-designed together with the young adults with disabilities who attend the daytime activities of the Fiorente Cooperative and the adolescents of the “Scuola del Fare” youth centre. The co-designing activities and the realisation of the mural will be carried out under the supervision of a young artist from Parma, who will guide the volunteers in the realisation of the drawing and in the use of environmentally friendly venrnics. Volunteers from the neighbourhood will also join the group of international volunteers in the realisation.
Description of the Work
The group of volunteers will be responsible for the reproduction and colouring of the mural co-designed by the young people from the middle school, the Centro Giovani “Scuola del Fare” and the Cooperativa “Fiorente”. Young people from the neighbourhood, who collaborated in the design, and young people interested in environmental issues who are interested in sharing an experience with international volunteers will take part in the activities.
The activities will take place at 2 times of the day: morning 9:00-12:30 and afternoon 15:00-18:00. During the lunch break, moments of acquaintance with realities of the San Leonardo neighbourhood will be organised (ex. International lunches, picnics in the park, etc.)
