Rajaprajanugroh school 50 Khon kaen located in the Northeastern
Thailand connected to Laos border. This is primary to secondary, public
school. There are about 800 students from Kindergarten to high school
level. Rajaprajanugroh school 50 located in Ban Haet District, Khon kaen
province in Northeastern Thailand. There is a border connected to Laos.
Rajaprajanugroh school 50 is a school for disadvantaged students under
royal patronage. The students in Khon kaen province who have difficulty
in their life will attend this school as in boarding school.
School needs international volunteers to create activities for students to
improve English for communication and create an intercultural
environment in the school.

Volunteers will work as English teachers assistant, preparing lessons or English
Camp with the teacher at the school.
Creative teaching English – Non-formal education tools can be used for creative
teaching; volunteer is not required teaching certificate but required to be
creative.

Aims of creative teaching is giving the chance for students in the school and
local community to have an opportunity to communicate with different
languages and learn different cultures.
Volunteer would use Non-formal education tools to make activities based on
Intercultural and language such as the games, songs, storytelling, and dancing.
Also, it should focus on communication; listening and speaking.
In addition volunteer can create theirs national club, for example, German club,
Korean club to exchange with students in Language and culture.
The activity after school – because the students stay at the school dormitory,
they always have extra activities after school. The volunteer can join them to
make
a more closed relationship. It will be a good opportunity to exchange the
different
cultures and activities. Students are learning occupation skill activities such as
organic farming, handicraft, organic products.
In addition volunteer can create theirs national club, for example, German club,
Korean club to exchange with students in Language and culture.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Includes a one-hour lunch break
Weekend is freetime

At school’s accommodation with Thai teacher.
1-2 Volunteers per room with shared
bathroom. There are common area and kitchen

Lunch will be provided at school canteen. Volunteer can cook
breakfast and supper.

Internet wifi is available at the school.
