Through these activities, volunteers will actively contribute to a rural cultural festival that promotes contemporary performing arts, supports young artists and strengthens cultural life and networking in Sicily.

Location & Leisure

Serradifalco is a small village in the province of Caltanissetta. The village is located in a rural mountainous context at 423 m above sea level. Like most remote Sicilian villages, it is served by a limited number of public transport services, so the organization of free time could be limited to visiting nearby places or organizing excursions out of town. Volunteers may be accommodated in a village near the location where the activities take place and will travel daily using transportation provided by the hosting organization.

Requirements

Volunteers should like the idea of living in a small town and experiencing collective life. Volunteers should enjoy working in a rural community and participating in cultural and social events. Interest in manual work, event organisation, and teamwork is recommended. Motivation letter and registration on the European Youth Portal are required: https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/young-people/about_en
